Face control — impressions from the very threshold.

The officer will find everything forbidden on your guests…

[ 01 ]The first minutes

A light jolt, bewilderment, a sigh with a smile

The first half hour is usually the hardest: guests arrive one by one, not everyone knows each other, and conversation hasn't started yet. Whether the evening warms up on its own — or you have to lift it — depends on this start.

Face control solves it with one shared gag at the door: one artist, one storyline — and the whole group is in on the joke at once. No need to approach each guest: everyone becomes a participant before they even sit down.

When the gag is revealed, the mood is set. Guests discuss what was found on whom — and that conversation runs through the whole evening like a refrain. When they tell friends about your party, they'll talk about the guard at the entrance.

[ 02 ]Costume options

Police officer or security guard

The same gag — two recognizable characters. Choose the one that fits your venue and the tone of your event.

01Classic look

Police officer

A police uniform — instantly readable context and maximum surprise. References to 'heightened security,' a comic pat-down and 'forbidden' finds in guests' pockets and bags.

Guests don't realize it's a gag at first — and laugh even harder.

02Modern look

Security guard

Security or bouncer attire — a natural fit for corporate events, clubs and private venues. The same face-control script.

After a strange find, guests ask each other what was discovered on whom.

[ 03 ]What's the difference

Face control or micromagic?

Both formats work at guest greeting — but create different impressions. They're often combined at one event.

Face control is a gag-performance at the entrance: one vivid character, a shared surprise for everyone. Micromagic is cool effects in each guest's hands.

Face control

Entrance gag

Works well at the door — pat-down and screening.

Micromagic

Close-up magic

Works anywhere and engages bystanders for a long time

Face control

Defined character

Police or security uniform.

Micromagic

Costume

The look can be almost anything, but a classic suit is preferred.

Face control

Icebreaker effect

Makes a strong impression and bewilderment. Guests laugh together and discuss the 'finds' — the ice is broken

Micromagic

Personal engagement

Lets you connect with different guests and engage them. Sometimes you just need to talk.

Face control

Evening start

Micromagic

Welcome zone and buffet

works with: weddings · anniversaries

We booked the Face Control program for a corporate event. It was one of the funniest moments of the whole evening. Guests took turns at the entrance and were checked by a very serious security officer — who'd pull out banned items: a vodka bottle, men's underwear and tights. People started looking for documents and explaining themselves. When it became clear it was a prank, the laughter exploded. A very unusual and memorable start to the event.

We wanted to surprise our guests and chose Face Control. It worked even better than we expected. Many guests were absolutely sure they were dealing with a real police officer. Especially funny was watching our serious friends' reactions and their bewilderment when UJINN found a set of cutlery and a rat on them. A truly original format.
